The price of an audit depends on the time spent on the company, which in turn is determined by the volume of the company’s business activities, the quality of its accounting and internal audit system, and the assistance the customer is providing during the audit. The price of an audit is determined in the course of negotiations, after the auditor has communicated with/interviewed the company’s management and/or got acquainted with the company’s basic financial data. The amount of the fee, the audit schedule, the customer’s and auditor’s rights and responsibilities are fixed in an audit contract before the start of the audit.
